What is “OfficePW! V4”

"OfficePW! V4" is an application that allows you to set and cancel passwords for multiple Microsoft Office documents (Word / Excel / PowerPoint) and PDF files in a batch.
Even if you don't have expertise such as macros, it's okay, and you can set it up by simply dragging and dropping a document into the app.

It also has a function to check in advance whether there is a password.

The latest version (v4) has a new app design! Compatible with highly requested zip files. In addition, the function to detect an arbitrary character string in the document was implemented.

Feature

File encryption with simple operation

Simply drag and drop a Microsoft Office document such as Word or Excel onto the desktop icon to set a password. You can also set passwords by dropping multiple documents and folders, not just a single document.

Open with your usual app

Microsoft Office documents for which a password has been set with this app can be opened with your usual Microsoft Office application such as Word or Excel. Since there is no need to prepare a special application separately, it is safe even when handing over to others.

Supports PDF and zip

In addition to Office documents, Adobe PDF documents are also supported. You can set passwords at the same time as Office documents, and you can open PDF documents with your usual PDF application. V4 finally supports zip files.

You can set or delete the password directly from the context menu by right-clicking the folder containing the Office or PDF document. Recommended for setting a password on a single document.

Search for text in a document at once! "WordSearch" function

Speaking of which, I would like to set passwords for documents written about "Confidential" ...

The “WordSearch” function installed in the GUI version app tells you when the searched character string exists in the document, including its position. The location of the string is written to the log and can be checked at any time while using the app.

Trial period is two weeks after installation. Please check whether your expected behavior is possible within the trial period.

About license count

License is the right for customers who purchase this software to use this software product on one PC at the same time. If you use it on multiple PCs at the same time, you will need several licenses to use.

Ex) Use one laptop computer at home, company and business trip destination. → Required number of licenses 1.
Ex) Use one laptop computer at home and company and another laptop computer at company and client → Required number of licenses 2.

As for how to use this software, there is a scene where you want to set a password for a large amount of existing documents (thousands of files or more) at once, rather than using it on individual PCs.
At that time, batch processing may stop due to various conditions and environmental restrictions.
The main cause is that the document is on the shared disk, the setting status of the file access authority, and the status of the antivirus software.
Depending on the size of the company, it may not be possible to easily change the settings of individual PCs due to kitting during installation or centralized management of PC usage.

In such cases, we have prepared a ”corporate version" that provides individual support and a dedicated application for shared disk protection version.

License Agreement

The Office PW (Hereinafter referred to as "this Software Product") before using, please read sure to read it.
To use the Software Product (including programs, images, documents, etc.) on your personal computer (Hereinafter referred "PC"), Please agree the following software license agreement.
The Innovation-mirai Co., LTD will accept the rights described in this Agreement on condition that you strictly adhere to all the terms and conditions.

1.License agreement
--------------------------
(1)	The Innovation-mirai Co., LTD (Hereinafter referred to as "our company"), grants to you the right to use the Software Product of limited functions by our company for free for a period of two weeks from installation. In addition, Installation refers to the operation to make the Software Product available on your PC. Also, use refers to running the program of the Software Product on your PC or browsing the documents.
(2)	In the event that you cancel the limited function of the Software Product or use the Software Product for more than two weeks period, it must be purchase the license in the accordance with company's way.
(3)	This license is the right for customers who purchased to use this Software Product on only one PC at same time. When using the Software Product on multiple PC at the same time, the number of licenses to be used simultaneously is required.

2. Intellectual property right

Our company have all copyrights and other intellectual property rights of this Software Product.

3. Prohibited matter
--------------------------
(1)	You may not change, adapt or translate this Software Product.
(2)	You may not reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble, or otherwise unravel the source code.
(3)	You may not assign or sublicense the license of this Software Product to a third party.
(4)	The customer may not provide information to third parties to cancel the function limitation or the term limitation that we have applied to this Software Product.

4.User support
--------------------------
(1)	The User support means that customers who have already registered in this Software Product, when using this Software Product, if any problems that may not be solved by themselves occur, resolve them You can consult about measures.
It is not intended to guarantee your respond to your requests and hope.
We will not use the data created using the Software Product or consult the data creation method for conforming to the Software Product.
(2)	The User support period for customers will begin when your user registration for the software product complete. In addition, it is valid for one year from the sales end date of software products. However, this does not apply when Article 6 of the "License Agreement" is applied.
(3)	The User support will be provided on the premise that the customer's operating environment is normal. We do not support OS or other software or hardware regardless of whether the Software Programs is involved or not.
(4)	The User support will only be accepted by e-mail.

5. Disclaimer

(1)	Our company makes no warranty as to the performance or conformity with the specific purpose of this Software Product, regardless of whether or not the customer has purchased a license for this Software Product.
(2)	We shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the inability to use or disable the software product, regardless of whether or not the customer has purchased a license for this Software Product.

6. Termination
--------------------------
If you breach this agreement, we can immediately cancel this license agreement. After the termination of the contract, the customer may not use the software product, 
and in the event of damage to our company, the customer bears the obligation to compensate for the damage.

7.Other
--------------------------
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Japan, and the Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive jurisdiction.
